We are currently reorganizing our product reviews. Suppliers have been really generous this year getting their foods and products to us so that we review them and tell our readership about them. We've gotten some great products and we'll be posting the reviews in the next day or two. We look forward to your feedback regarding them!

Welcome to Chop Onions, Boil Water version 2.0! After a few delays and a great deal of work we've finally managed to release the new website and we hope you enjoy it! Our new design allows us to deliver more cuisine and cooking content to you and the new forums area offers you an opportunity to get involved in the site in new and much more flexible ways. I decided to make the change from a blog to a fully featured site late last year. While the blog served us and our readership early on, as our content grew, it just didn't give us the flexibility to offer our content in a number of organized ways. So, I began working on Chop Onions, Boil Water ver. 2.0. Early on in the development we realized how open-ended the new system was, and with that came the potential for us to do and offer all kinds of new things to the world food and cooking community. Again, we hope you enjoy the new look and all the new features. I personally hope you will join us in the COBW forums. I'd like to try some of the recipes I hope will be added there by the community. Thank you for your support!

We encourage you to check out our feeds from these great sites: Epicurious.com and FoodGawker.com. You'll find them in the left and right columns of our homepage. They are two of our favorite food sites for inspiration and research when we're looking to try new recipes and food. FoodGawker in particular is a great way to scan new recipes. It consists of a juried gallery of food images that are linked to the related recipes on the web. Trust us, you can sure get lost looking at all those great photos of great food! Epicurious.com is a just a great recipe source. The recipes themselves are culled from some of the best food publications in the world. The ratings and comments systems assure that the recipes are proven and of the highest quality! We'll be adding new content and feeds as we find and test them. Thanks for joining us here at Chop Onions, Boil Water - World Food at Home!

I'm happy to announce two new members to this formerly solo effort. My wife Michelle Krauzyk will now be helping to keep COBW greased and operating smoothly. She will be joined by long time friend and Chop Onions, Boil Water cookbook editor/editress Margaret McLeod (who is completely unaware of her new position as I type this). Together, I think we'll be able to get a handle on COBW, and with the immense organizational skills of both Mrs Krauzyk and Mrs McLeod I can only expect better things ahead!

Even while COBW ver. 2 comes online, I'll be keeping the old blog up and running for some time into the future. My plans are to keep the old blog online and continue to update it to accommodate the slower aspects of the transition to COBW ver. 2.0. So if you're receiving your information via RSS or Feedburner, you will continue to do so into the future. It's my intention to make the transition from COBW to COBW ver. 2 as seamless as possible.
Thank you for your patience.
